A storage box with a hinged lid, made to measure: choose the size, a snap-on or pinned hinge, a click-shut tab, magnet pockets or a plain friction lid, and an optional divider grid inside. The box and lid print flat and click together — every clearance is already built in. Pick two colours for a two-tone box.
Outer width of the box, side to side. The hinge runs along this edge at the back.
Outer depth of the box, front to back. The hinge barrels add about 6 mm behind this.
Outer height with the lid closed.
snap = the lid clicks straight onto the hinge pin (no extra parts, and it can be popped off again); pin = a separate printed pin slides through the hinge barrels for a more secure, permanent hinge.
How the lid stays shut: snap = a click-shut tab on the front you open with a thumb; magnets = facing pockets for 6 x 2 mm disc magnets (glue them in — magnets not included); none = a plain friction-fit lid with a finger notch.
Compartment columns inside, divided across the width (1 = no divider).
Compartment rows inside, divided front to back (1 = no divider).
Tolerance preset for how the printed parts mate. standard suits most printers; snug gives a tighter lid and hinge on a well-calibrated machine; loose adds clearance if the lid or hinge binds.
